I woke up dreaming, I was asleep
Gawd. Woke at 4am this morning with this flipping song going round and around my. head. Ironic, no? (I woke up singing I woke up dreaming I was asleep) It is from a VW ad that is screening at the moment. Doing some internet searching this morning I have divined that it is Men in White Coats by The Dallas Guild. Yes, it makes me feel better. [You can listen to samples here and here ]
Reason I didn't sleep that well was that I was hitting the yoga a little hard on the weekend. I did a course over three days in Ashtanga yoga (the one that gives Madonna really big arms). It really knocked me for six! The yoga itself was tricky, but having to remember all the bits and stuff was a complete mental overload. I spent the rest of the weekend wandering around like a zombie that can't lift it's arms cause they hurt.
Also I am in WEEK FOUR of not drinking at all. This weekend Katie and I are going to have a special lunch at The Ivy to mark the occasion.

wandering around like a FAST zombie, hell bent on the wrong direction!
Yes. In mathematics it is called a "Random Walk". In Nottinghill it is called, "really difficult person to go shopping with".
I apologize to all/anyone that I confused and/or offended over the weekend with my zombie style power-walking in the wrong direction.
The Ivy, well La De Da.
I woke up at 6am this morning to the sounds of souped up wog chariots celebrating Italies ill gotten world cup.
I reject your apology - please offer another.
Ok - instead of "all/anyone" I will put "all and sundry". You can be sundry!! What says you?
... and yes Chris! La De Da, indeed!! We will spend the whole day saying "oo la la" and "la de da" til they kick us out. Well, that is my proposal. KT may have other ideas.
... an mimicking waiters. Like, " what would you like to eat ... well La De Da ... what would you like to eat, indeed!!! Well Oo La La would you look at those forks. Well La Deee Daaaaa".
That sort of thing.
