The poll bandwagon.

Sorry guys, but I really couldn't resist climbing aboard the poll bandwagon (look right). It just looked like too much fun. My little poll will assess the average mood of my readers. If you are all too glum, then I will have to post photocopies of my bottom or something to cheer you up. Actually, that might make things worse. I might have to give this some more thought…

It is weird. The bed does feel like the issue. Cannot sell = not valued by others, my "safe place" tossed to the wind like so many bread crumbs to a bunch of un-hungry ducks who just stick up their beaks in distast, my inabilty to move it without help, the potential impact that it will have on my housemates. Oh yes, it is the corner stone of my issues, but as you correctly identified, not THE issue.

Sigur Ros ... yay! I don't even really listen to them, but I just really want to see them live. This is NOT, by the way, because in all promo shots the band members are hot-to-trot. I didn't know that they were so sexy when I got infatuated with the idea. The fact that they are just kinda helped it all along.

Thank GOD for the Salvos.

No, I am not turned wino and in need of a cuppa soup. The fact is that I just called the Salvos and they will come around on Wednesday to pick up THE BED. They will bring two (hopefully burly) drivers to help me get the bed downstairs. I will then feel angelic thinking of some poor happless soul transported to a state of zen like bliss after sleeping on my beautiful bed. Ahhh.

Yes. Less than one week!! I have found out that the car I have rented has a CD player. This is all round good news for myself and the kindly people of France. I intend to offset the sweetness of their country side with a little bit of bangin techno. Piquant, no?!

Your poll makes me appear unusually happy as compared to the mean...

What an accurate poll... I put it down to i-tunes at work...

Yes. Poll is interesting. I think that I was in the worst mood of the lot of ya!! Maybe I should go and photocopy my arse for my own benefit. Yeah. That would work.

But in other more insightful conclusions, I think that one is about as happy as one declares oneself to be.

I am reminded of a loose acquaintance who, in answer to the question, “How was your day?” would respond, “Just like yesterday only a little bit better”. I think that there is something in that for all of us.
